Data Analyst

WealthCo is looking for a Data Analyst to join our amazing team based in Calgary, Alberta. The Analyst is responsible for data integrity across our integrated asset management firm. With a keen attention to detail and an appreciation of how important accurate reporting is for our client’s, the Analyst will provide proactive technical and reporting support to ensure the delivery an exceptional client support and service, accomplished by prioritizing accuracy, timeliness, and responsiveness. Systems such as Azure, Power BI Service, and CRM Dynamics will be supported by this role. The Analyst supports the WealthCo Team in achieving business objectives and goals reporting directly to the COO.

You will support the company’s goals and objectives by:

  • Building analytics and reporting to support sales activity while providing recommendations to improve the sales process.
  • Collaborating with leadership teams to create data strategies that support data modeling.
  • Leveraging investigative and problem-solving skill to rectify issues to ensure ongoing data integrity.
  • Increases effectiveness and efficiency within the firm by enhancing and ensuring ongoing data integrity.
  • Supports and develops corporate cloud infrastructure in Azure.
  • Manages data documentation as it pertains to our pools and their sub-holdings.
  • Responsible for the ongoing communication and issue resolution with our data solution providers
  • Responsibility for projects as they pertain to our data and reporting systems.
  • Build strong and influential internal relationships to help ensure business objectives are being met.

Successful candidates will require:

  • University degree or certificate in the following disciplines: Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science.
  • 3-5 years data management experience.
  • Proven experience in creation of dashboards, data visualization and reporting, as well as managing data ceremonies, data cleaning and preparation.
  • Experience with Azure Data Services as ADF, ADL Gen2, Azure Automations.
  • Experience with Power platform (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Queries in M code, Power Query dataflows)
  • Experience with CRM Dynamics 365

Senior Financial Planner

WealthCo is currently looking to add a Senior Financial Planner to our team based in Calgary, Alberta. The key focus for our Senior Financial Planner is working with our CPA partners in supporting, developing and fostering client relationships ensuring all aspects of their financial plan (business & personal) are supported by our team of internal and external specialists Helping clients live their best life is core to our planning philosophy.

You will support the company’s goals and objectives by:

  • Building relationships with CPA partner firms to assist them in Financial Planning with their clients.
  • Building plans and strategies which clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives, including advice on asset management, asset protection, financial management, retirement planning, business planning and estate planning.
  • Meeting with clients to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other information needed to develop a financial plan.
  • Services and expands new and existing clients by introducing them to the firm's services.
  • Exhibits the firm’s values of leadership, teamwork, respect, accountability, and passion

Successful candidates will require:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years experience in financial planning
  • CFP Designation and Membership in the Financial Planning Association or other industry groups
  • Insurance licensing would be considered an asset
  • A CPA or CIM designation would be considered an asset
  • Self motivation, accountability, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long term client relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Results oriented, accurate and reliable
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Administrative Assistant

WealthCo is currently looking for a full time Administrative Assistant who will be an exceptional addition to our head offices in Calgary, Alberta.

The key focus of an Administrative Assistant at WealthCo is supporting the overall day-to-day experience of the firm’s internal and external clients. The Administrative Assistant is the “first impression” for our visiting external clients and is responsible for managing their client experience by phone or in person. The role is responsible for the coordination of projects, events and other activities related to the business as well as Reception services. This role reports to the Manager, Corporate Operations.

You will support the company’s goals through these key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated competence in working collaboratively with others, anticipating and responding to the needs of the team to meet the firm’s goals and objectives.
  • Provides internal and external clients with a superior client experience.
  • Coordinates events for internal and external clients.
  • Conducts research, compiles data and drafts various corporate presentations, spreadsheets, charts, forms, documents, and communications.
  • Tracks and reports on Business Services KPIs.
  • Acts as a hub for all Division administrative concerns and requests.
  • Acts as facilities liaison with Building Management (maintenance, fire, security etc.).
  • Contributes to special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Successful candidates will require:

  • Completion of Business /Administration diploma or degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience in Administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 products (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, TEAMS, SharePoint)
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (Pitney Bowes, fax machines, printers)
  • Administrative experience within a sales organization is an asset
  • Proactive – you take the initiative to ask, learn, and make things happen.
  • Ability to handle multiple project and requests, prioritize, and respond quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
