ASSOCIATE ADVISOR
CALGARY, ALBERTA
WealthCo is currently seeking a full time Associate Advisor who will be an exceptional addition to our head offices in Calgary, Alberta. Your key focus will be supporting and assisting the Financial Advisors and Financial Planning team in developing and implementing financial plans for individuals, business owners, corporate executives and professionals. This role reports to the Financial Advisor.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible to adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements as set out by the firm and other regulatory bodies
Data input for financial plans including: assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance, tax information, and financial objectives
Full ownership/accountability for implementation of financial plans including required paperwork
Works to collaborate with and support Integrated Advisory partners’ experience
Effective communication between clients and other professionals (i.e. accountants, internal team)
Act as a liaison between clients and advisors; prepare client letters and assist with client correspondence
Contact clients as needed; communicating in a non-counselling perspective, or in a counselling perspective where directed and approved
Attend client meetings as requested; some travel may be required
Successful candidates will require:
College/University degree or equivalent
CFP designation; 2-5 years of experience in Financial Planning
Knowledge of tax, investment strategies, insurance, pension plans and real estate an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
